Biography

Anja Ruhland is the Head of the Federal Funding Advisory Service „Research and Innovation“, the central point of contact for any questions concerning research and innovation funding. The centre is based at the Berlin Office of Project Management Jülich (PtJ), which implements research and innovation funding programmes on behalf of public authorities. Prior to joining PtJ, Ms Ruhland worked as Project Manager and Director for different public and non-profit organisations on national and European level, e.g. the Assembly of European Regions. She holds a MA degree in Anglistic/Americanistic, Political Science and Business Communication.

The Federal Funding Advisory Service on Research and Innovation is the central point of contact for any questions concerning research and innovation funding. The centre informs potential applicants about the federal research structure, funding programmes and the persons to contact as well as about current funding priorities and initiatives.
