Post-doc research fellow in social-emotional wearables design at ISTC-CNR

Biography

Beste Özcan is the founder of “Transitional Wearable Companions” concept and “+me” wearable companion for children with autism. Now, she is a postdoc research fellow at the Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies, National Research Council of Italy (ISTC-CNR) working on the development of interactive wearables to augment social-emotional interaction skills of children with autism and experimental bio-feedback wearables to enhance human connectivity. She is the author of the book “H+ design: time, space, human, machine”.
