Terho Lahtinen is the founder of Suunto. Building customer oriented working methods and open innovation activities in Suunto R&D, he is also scouting new building blocks for future products and business areas, and managing new concept development and validation activities.
Terho has over 25 years of experience of sports wearables as an athlete. Since 2000, he has been part in various product and business related roles at Suunto, including product management, new product concepting, consumer experience management and user insights collection. Currently, Terho is responsible from Movesense, an open development platform for motion sensing solutions. In his leisure time, he is organizing popular trail running events in Finland.
